Dr. Kai-An Chuang is a biomedical researcher specializing in pharmacodynamics, toxicology, and advanced bioactive product development, with strong translational expertise bridging laboratory science and industry innovation. His research focuses on neuroprotection, immunomodulation, natural bioactive compounds, extracellular vesicles, and plant-derived therapeutics, with emerging interests in cosmetic and biomedical applications of exosome-like nanoparticles. He currently serves as Technical Assistant Manager at PEGAVISION Corporation and Facial Beau International Corp., where he leads advanced product R&D, and previously worked as a Researcher at the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) in Taiwan. Dr. Chuang has made significant contributions through mechanistic discoveries in neuroinflammation, immune regulation, and natural compound–based interventions, supporting both therapeutic and commercial translation.
